Women who run, write, exchange, read, hide and burn notes. They call themselves “ the messengers”. They never get out of breath and can easily blend into the crowd. In this film, women demand an end to exploitation. The urgency arose among the women, who are more than fed up with the arrests and the disappearance of their husbands.
Kandé receives a secret message. After twenty years, he can finally return to his native village, Casamance, Senegal. But he chose to stay among the others.
